memory_upgrade2My favorite uncle gave me an ibook for the Christmas of 2007. It’s the one from around early 2004. Back then, I remember how happy it made me. I thought of how my high school friends would envy me because I had my own laptop and a very high-end brand at that. It was brand new when I got it and I initially found a lot of use for its computer memory, for both school and personal stuff. But after a year, I gradually came to realize that it was slowing down a lot. It didn’t load as fast as it used to and this may have been due to all the applications that I saved in it. I thought that my laptop’s Apple memory was bogged down by all the applications that I put in. I was considering selling it but when I asked my techie brother, he persuaded me not to. He said all I needed was to install a better Mac memory for it. I did what he said and voila! It’s working as fast as ever.
